Leanne Bock (aka Le Riquiqui) is a visual artist, designer and illustrator.
b. Queensland, Australia, lived in London 2006–2013, Central America and México 2010–2011 & 2022, France 2013–2014, regional Australia and Sydney 2014–2017, Melbourne / Naarm 2002–2006, 2017–current.
Working with ordinary objects and themes of the everyday in connection to the body as vehicles through which to explore individual and collective realities, Leanne builds democratic visual languages which playfully pose abstract questions around the excess, alienation, disembodiment and absurdity of contemporary mass culture.
